The Texas Hill Country, where we live, has a special appeal for residents and visitors alike--rolling hillsides, lovely oak trees, picturesque buildings and, in the Spring, colorful wild flowers in a rainbow of hues. The wildflowers this year were so memorable that I've tried to paint them with a very personal approach and expression, allowing each subject to tell its own story. Contrasting with this "loose" approach, are other more defined Hill Country subjects which tell their story in a different way. I hope you like all the stories these subjects tell!
